We are pleased to present our Call to Artists for participation in our Canterbury Art Show...
a Tapestry of the Arts, a premier local exhibition and sale of artwork at St. Georges-by-the-River in Rumson, New Jersey. The show will be actively marketed and promoted to New Jersey's art community, along with our parish of over 400. You may choose to submit your original artwork for the Juried Gallery, the Non-Juried Treasures and the Non-Juried Portfolio pieces. Juried artwork awards will be presented at a Meet the Artists Reception on Friday, September 20th for Best in Show, Award in Excellence and Honorable Mention. Participating artists will be our guests at this reception. Artists are not required to be present during show hours.

Proceeds from the Canterbury Art Show will directly benefit St. George’s-by-the-River and its outreach programs. We are proud of the well-organized outreach programs that serve our community. St. George’s makes annual grants to over thirty local agencies including Lunch Break, Family Promise, HABcore, 180 Turning Lives Around, and the Monmouth County FoodBank, just to name a few. You can learn more about these programs on the Community Outreach page. You can also visit St. George's-by-the-River right now by clicking on the photo of the church at the top of this page.

June 3rd is the deadline to register for the show and pay the entry fee(s). Since the art show is being held within our Church complex, the artwork display areas are limited. Therefore, we must limit the number of artists participating. Participation in the Non-Juried Treasures category is limited to the first 60 received Artist Participation Forms with payment. Act quickly!

Review the Artist Prospectus, take a look at highlights from last year's show and then go to the Artist Participation Page to enter the show. You'll see that we have an easy process for you to provide your contact information, pay entry fee(s) and submit your artwork electronically. Please share this website and the Artist Prospectus with other artists who may be interested in the Canterbury Art Show.
